Nigerian Military Suspends UNICEF Activities In Northeast Nigeria

The Nigerian military has suspended United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) activities in the northeastern part of Nigeria where Boko Haram has it's influence.
The northeastern part of Nigeria has been torn apart by a decade-long insurgency by Boko Haram and its splinter group Islamic State West Africa (ISWA), creating one of the world's worst humanitarian crises.

Why Nigeria Military suspended UNICEF activities ?

The Nigerian military accused UNICEF staff of giving training and deploying spies who support the insurgents responsible for violence in northeast Nigeria.

A UNICEF spokeswoman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Thousands of Children will become hopeless and will become vulnerable to vaccine preventable diseases, they will not get education and in some cases there is chance that they have to go hungry to bed the gap to achieve Sustainable Development Goals 2030 Goal number 2 "No Hunger" will be widened.
